Principal Jeannine Anderson
Hello Frias Elementary Families!
My name is Jeannine Anderson and I am thrilled to be Frias’ Principal. I was born in Saginaw, Michigan and received my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Saginaw Valley State University. In 2003 I moved to New Orleans where I began my teaching career as an alternative middle school mathematics teacher. While in New Orleans I attended Xavier University and received my Master’s in Curriculum & Instruction, Reading Specialist. In 2006, I relocated to Las Vegas due to Hurricane Katrina; I then attended NOVA Southeastern University for coursework in administration. Since starting in the Clark County School District, I have been a literacy specialist, instructional coach, Assistant Principal, and most recently, Frias’ Principal since January 2021. I have one fur baby, Dax, and I enjoy cooking, crafting, traveling, and being active.
Student success -academic, social, and emotional- is at the core of everything I do however I cannot make this happen alone. Fostering relationships with students, staff, parents, and the community in order to maintain a climate and culture of trust and high expectations is a priority. Frias has demonstrated success over the years and I want to ensure we continue that trend of excellence. I believe this can be achieved through open, collaborative communication with and amongst all stakeholders. Together we will achieve anything we set our minds to!
I look forward to partnering with you to ensure the success of all our children. If you need any support, please do not hesitate to email me at anderjn@nv.ccsd.net, call me at 702-799-2298, or message me on Dojo.
Sincerely,
Jeannine Anderson

Assistant Principal Jenny Rash
Hi! My name is Jenny Rash. I have been a part of our Frias family for the past decade and am excited to transition into my role as Assistant Principal!
I am originally from Southern California, where I received my Bachelor's degree from California State University and my Master's in Elementary Education from Chapman University. In California, I met my husband Stephen (now an Assistant Principal at Desert Oasis High School) and started teaching 4th grade. We had two intelligent and beautiful children, Lex and Emily, who we moved to Las Vegas in 2003 to be closer to family.
I began teaching 2nd grade in Las Vegas at Kirk L. Adams Elementary. Then, I moved to the Southwest to open William Wright Elementary, where I taught 1st and 2nd grade. I was happy to join the Frias faculty in 2014, where I taught first grade and kindergarten and then worked with all grade levels as a Literacy Strategist. I completed my Master's in Administration at UNLV (Go Rebels!) and was beyond excited that I was able to stay on at Frias as an Assistant Principal.
My husband and I enjoy this season as empty nesters while traveling and camping in our tiny A-frame trailer. We love VGK and Disney, playing with our furbabies Mickey and Leia, and visiting our grown-up kids!
